Cell-Free RNA™ BCT is Streck's blood collection tube that contains proprietary chemicals which stabilize nucleated blood cells such that the release of RNA from these cells into the blood is prevented. The proprietary chemicals contained in Cell-Free RNA BCT inhibit the action of plasma nucleases, thereby contributing to the overall preservation of cell-free RNA in plasma. Cell-Free RNA BCT allows for the accurate detection and analysis of cell-free RNA for up to 3 days at room temperature. Cell-Free RNA BCT is intended for research use only.
